Smart MindMap AI Content Guidelines and Reporting

Smart MindMap includes optional AI features that can generate or transform text
and diagram structures based on user prompts.

AI output can be useful, but it can also be inaccurate, incomplete, confusing,
or inappropriate. Please review AI output before using, sharing, or relying on it.

1. General expectations

When using AI features in Smart MindMap, you agree not to use them to create,
request, or refine content that is unlawful or harmful, including content that:

– promotes violence or serious harm,
– promotes self-harm,
– sexualizes minors,
– contains unlawful sexual content,
– promotes hateful or harassing abuse,
– facilitates fraud, malware, or other criminal activity,
– violates privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights,
– is intended to deceive people in a harmful way.

2. Accuracy and human review

AI output is automatically generated and may contain mistakes.
You are responsible for reviewing generated content before:

– applying it to important work,
– sharing it with other people,
– relying on it for business, legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions.

3. Provider differences

Smart MindMap supports multiple AI paths:

– **Built-in Local AI** — generated on your device after model download,
– **OpenAI** — generated by OpenAI services,
– **Ollama / LM Studio** — generated by the endpoint you configure,
– **Manual Clipboard** — generated by whichever external AI tool you choose.

Different providers may behave differently.

4. Reporting inappropriate AI output

If Smart MindMap produces AI output that is clearly inappropriate, unsafe, or in
violation of these guidelines, please report it to us.

Please include when possible:
– app version,
– provider used,
– model used,
– a short description of what happened,
– a screenshot if helpful,
– diagnostics copied from the app if available,
– whether the problem is repeatable.

Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive personal information.

5. What we may do after a report

Depending on the issue, we may:

– investigate the behavior,
– adjust prompts, validation, or provider behavior,
– improve warnings or filters,
– update help and documentation,
– remove or disable problematic AI flows if needed.
