What hardware is recommended for Built-in Local AI?

Requirements depend on the model, available memory and diagram size. The recommended Qwen3 model lists 8 GB RAM in the app catalog; 16 GB or more provides more headroom for local AI alongside other applications.

Start in Standard mode. Low Memory mode is available for older computers and 8 GB laptops. A supported GPU can speed up generation, but a dedicated GPU is not required. CPU-only generation may be slow, so start with Auto or small diagrams.
