What should I do if Built-in Local AI feels slow?

Start with the model marked Recommended in Manage Models. Use Auto or a small diagram, close memory-heavy applications, and try Standard mode first. Low Memory mode can help on older computers and 8 GB laptops.

CPU-only generation can be slow. Check the GPU and memory information on the Built-in tab; a supported GPU and up-to-date drivers may improve performance. Advanced and Heavy models can take much longer. See local AI requirements or contact support with your model and hardware details.
